PLEASE HELP ! Should I See His Vet Hello Every one and Thanks in advance for any help on this one My little guy is 16 months old . e have had numerous vet trips both his regular ones and the hey we need to be seen today trips . Pac has had stomach issues off and on . We have had 4 bile acid tests done with 2 different vets . He has been great not an issue in the world since July . Then this week he had loose stool on and off one case of the Hershey kiss like poop . I chalked this up to about a week or so ago I had changed his food . Now today he threw up that clear yellow bile no foam to it at all . He is his normal self playful running jumping barking at anything he sees out the window and drinking his water . I checked his gums and they look like a healthy pink ( to me ) . He is NOT fixed yet and also has lately been lifting his leg to pee which he never did before and going to the bathroom on my bed posts , side of cabinet and bottom of fridge , I was assuming this was just marking but now Im wondering is he not feeling well . He eats ORIJEN dry food and Wellness Core wet in the mornings . Since the loose stool started I have not given him any wet food in the morning and stopped the new food i had given him . I can not boil him chicken to calm his stomach since he is allergic to chicken and corn . Sorry for such a long post just wanted to kinda give the full situation ,

How many times a day do you feed him? Yellow bile usually means empty tummy so you might want to spread out his meals more. Like if you feed him twice a day, feed him 3 times a day. For runny poop, boiled chicken/rice is good but since you can't boil chicken, pumpkin is another good alternative. But be sure to get the organic 100% pumpkin like this one: http://1w6j8040ci6b2pkd7329rcf7.wpen...t_pumpkin1.jpg As for the peeing... it sounds to me that he is in fact marking. Is he still in training? Perhaps try belly band to save your furniture/house from the pee?

he just started his "marking" he has been house trained for over a year . So i certainly think on that he is just testing the waters to say we know how stubborn they can be , He always always been a very picky eater so I do free feed him . His food is always out there are days he eats it all up and days I have to beg him to eat enough

There's a chance he might have UTI. If so, definitely having a vet check is in order. Does Your Dog Have a Urinary Tract Infection? Learn the Symptoms If he's always been a picky eater... Have you tried THK (the honest kitchen) or raw food like (Primal)? My Zoey is somewhat a picky eater but she seems to do really well with THK.

With 4 tests with two different vets and it all came back negative, I'm thinking it's a matter of you finding the right food for him. It's just going to be a long line of trial/error. If you haven't, I'd say try out the THK. As for the leg lifting, again.. since the tests came back negative, I'm guessing he's marking. Especially since he's not neutered yet. Be sure to clean the areas REALLY well to prevent him from keep going back. Maybe have him tethered or restrict his boundaries until you have him retrained.

Yes the bile acid test chaos is what we call in it our house at this point . We had 1 a bit high , 1 right at normal , 1 extremely high and 1 normal Yes i am not thinking UTI bc he is not excessively licking or straining at all and when he goes in the house its to a vertical area and lifts his leg , The urine has no odor. I am certainly going to look into the honest kitchen , He is doing well on the orijen dry and its 1 of the few dry foods we found with no chicken . Thanks you so much every one for all your help , I was concerned well more hesitant with neutering him just bc i was told i calms them down , I must say I love his hyper self . But am concerned with future health risks of not doing it . We do not plan on mating him

I don't think you should worry about the "calming" after neuter. I honestly didn't see any difference in terms their playfulness after neuter/spay.
