| Leash training.. My baby's are 13 weeks old and in NM now it's cold and I only let them out to potty due to the cold weather. What I want to know is when should I start leash training or walking them.? My vet says to keep them home they are little and it's cold. On warm days I let them run in the yard.,but I would like to get them trained to walk .

| Sooner you start the better. You can start training them inside the home. Put the harness/leash on them so they get used to the feeling. Just be sure to keep an eye on them so they don't get tangled or hurt themselves. |

| I would start leash training now. It's better to start them out young, then it is just a fact of life.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Can't go for walks yet, but you can def leash train inside. Put the leash on their collars and just hold it lightly and/or let them drag it around a bit...of course, keeping an eye on them at all times when the leash is attached.
