| New puppy and schedule I am planning on getting a new puppy next month I am trying to figure out how to schedule feeding and potty breaks because I work third shift and my husband works first shift but my work schedule allows me to have every other week off as I have been reading consistency is a big importance and I would like to get others input on this situation or some ideas for schedules thanks in advance |

| Welcome to Yorkie Talk and congratulations on the new-addition-to-be to your life. Good book recommendation. Supervision, limiting roaming freedom, and praise are also key in successful potty training. Best wishes!

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Welcome to YT ! I think to come up w/ a schedule, you'd want to decide what will be "night time" for this kiddo...on your schedule or hubbies...? Definitely go to our General Training section and look at the potty training stickies too.
