| How to straighten curly hair Raider and Addie are litter mates. Addie has straight hair and Raider looks like he just stuck his paw in an electrical socket. How can we straighten the hair on the top of his head? |

| Unless you plan on showing him, I would just let it be.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I suppose you could try blow drying it straight...? That's all I can think of.

| Blow dry may be your only option, though I don't know why you wouldn't want to embrace the cute waves/curls he has. My Blazer has wavy hair on his back and it's so freaking cute!

| Hi a pic would help LOL but is his hair long on top do you put a top knot, blow drying can help. I know Bella's back end is just a bit wavy I do have a very tiny hot iron but haven't used is much if I were taking her for pictures to be done I would. I wondered about a cream like you would use on hair nothing to strong just to relax the curl . But just around home who cares they are who and what they are just as cute as buttons : ) |

| Teddy was so curly as a puppy! His back hair is wavy now but his head hasn't changed! Yea when we went to pick him out the other was straight haired and my mom just loved the cute curly calm pup who was a bit shy unlike the other one who would yap and do laps around the house! I wouldn't worry much about your pups hair just brush it a lot and use the soft brush after detangling the hair so it takes a bit of curl out

| I have seen the show folks use a hot iron at the ring side to get a good straight drop.

| I would definitely suggest what everyone else has, blow drying could be your best option. I always blow dry Teddy after he gets a bath, it helps smooth out his coat. He has very wavy hair and I love it! |

| I used to have one that was straight until you got to the last third of her body, and her fur was just as curly and wavy, like she had gotten a perm over her butt area! It reminded me of those panties you can buy for little girl babies/toddlers (humans!), with all the ruffles on the seat...I thought it was adorable looking! |
