One of my old men.....retired stud!....looked up at me last night after smelling his dinner....."Nope, not tonight,....I will wait for the next item on the menu to come down....". He didnt eat last night, he had not eaten this am.....he STILL has not eaten....we are in a "battle of the wills" and while I feel horrible and want to do as I read so often on here, throw everything down in his bowl except the kitchen sink, hoping I will hit on something that strikes his fancy.....this is where I talk to myself....Judy, you must be bloody bold and resolute and he will NOT fall over dead in his tracks....he WILL eat when he gets hungry enough......he is sitting here at my feet, looking up at me with pitiful eyes....I told him I would go get the shovel and go dig the hole to bury him in if he does not eat soon.....he watched me go out the back door.....my son just used the intercom to tell me Bouncer watched me disappear into the darkness of the back yard, shovel in hand, and he dejectedly got up and went to his bowl........HE ATE!!!!!!!
