| Brewers Yeast Do you give your little one brewers yeast--and if so is it the pill or the powder?? I heard it was good for them and almost picked it up the other day when I was out . Decided to wait to see what everyone said. Heard it was good for them and also was good for fleas in the summer. |

| Yes..I give all my dogs Brewers Yeast w/ Garlic. My little ones think it's a treat in the morning or something. LOL They each get one tablet in the mornings and yes, it will help them not get fleas in the summer. I believe it has something to do with the Garlic though...not the yeast. I have heard that the garlic is emitted from the skin and the fleas do not like the smell. Keep in mind however, you will not smell it. My mom's dogs have also always gotten their Brewers Yeast w/ Garlic and never once had a problem with fleas in the summer months. It's a proven fact that it works here in Kentucky!

| I give all of mine the Brewers Yeast with Garlic also (pill form). No fleas, no problems. It is a great 8-in-1!! My dogs all think it is a yummy treat also (although it is a stinky little pill). You don't have to stick it in cheese or anything, they just LOVE it! |

Also, here is an excerpt from this website I found concerning WHY to give your dog Brewers Yeast w/ Garlic for flea control. "INTERNAL FLEA REPELLENTS: Garlic may not be your favorite cologne and it’s not the flea’s favorite smell either. When your dog eats garlic, the smell is excreted through the dog’s skin making your dog less likely to be the flea’s next meal. In case you think you might need to give your dog a breath freshener along with the garlic, my dogs, Mack and Josh, eat a garlic clove every day and I don’t find their breath smells from it at all. Brewer’s yeast tablets will also help to make your dog less attractive to fleas because once again the smell is excreted through the skin."

No, it is in the pet section at Wal-Mart. It is the only product besides pee pads that I buy for my Yorkies there. The bottle I buy says one pill for every 10 pounds, so I split them accordingly. Surprisingly it is dirt cheap | |

| Ya know, ive looked at this a few times at walmart and wondered about it as well. We've had problems with daisy having fleas and being allergic to the bites, etc...so I think Im going to pick some up! Thanks

| I am interested in this. My dog is severly allergic to fleas. He has still gotten fleas on with the advantage on him so I think I will try this.
