But it kind of IS their fault. You can't leave these pups unattended in a yard that is not 1000% secure or bad things can happen.

Cookie escaped out the front door once and it was pretty terrifying but luckily I caught her in time.

It is but it isn't. Accidents happen. We don't know exactly what happened but I'm with yorkiefan, I wouldn't want to pry or ask now. Like rubbing salt in the wound.

Accidents happen. If a dog goes into a certain mode, he can act so quickly that you can't stop him.
Even the most careful, conscientious dog owner in the world can make a mistake.
Sven was blessed to be found and loved by this owner.
I am so sorry for Sven's humans.
