| Yorkie Breeders in Chicago area? We lost our Fiona this week to Lymphoma. She was diagnosed in early June and it progressed so quickly. She had issues with her bladder and really bad LP in one of her hind legs, so we didn't think she could handle chemo, and instead chose to give her prednisone, which showed little improvement in her symptoms. Our Fiona would have been nine September 17th. My apologies I haven't posted more often, life and two kids, time flies and here we are. My kids are 7 and 5 and are heartbroken. My daughter says our family is not complete with a dog as part of it. I adopted Fiona from Sandra Aroch of Yorkies of Windwood, and she doesn't appear to still be breeding. Fiona's lines showed a lot of Jackie Hadfield's Altratam, but I have read she is hard to get ahold of as well. Does anyone know of any reputable Yorkie breeders in my area? I haven't done research for many years as I was content with my Fiona |

| So very sorry for your loss! I don't know of any breeders there but we have some wonderful breeders posting on here. At least I think they sound wonderful and knowledgeable. Hopefully they will chime in soon. If not go to the breeder talk area and ask for their input. I know Fiona left a big hole in your heart but you have wonderful memories of her I am sure. These little Yorkies are beyond description in that area. I never knew I could love a 'dog' sooo much. |
