| ![]() My puppy is 13 weeks old and he is the exact same!! I mixed apple cider vinegar and water 1:1 and sprayed it on anything we didn't want him to chew. It's a lifesaver!!! Hope that helps ![]() |

| ![]() I found this in another thread...MISTY2015 wrote it I found that mixing half apple cider and white vinegar in a spray bottle the applying to all possible chew areas helps a lot because obviously dogs hate the taste and on another note it also prevents accidents in the same areas and eliminates the scent of pee

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | ![]() Limit her access to anything she likes to chew that she shouldn't...and always redirect her to her chew toys. Does she have a lot of different toys to choose from?

| ![]() Bubba was a chewer. He chewed everything, furniture, power cords, computer wires, and anything else he could find. Even though he had a whole basket of his own toys. The commercial sprays didn't phase him. Nor did vinegar . The only thing I found that worked was roll on deodorant. After a couple of tastes of that he avoided those things. Yes, I know, I'm mean but better a nasty taste than electrocution. Bully sticks also helped to redirect him. There are still some signs of the damage (the rocker and an end table ) but he doesn't chew things anymore.

| ![]() Thanks for all the terrific ideas! I will definitely try that vinegar and cider spray stuff and yes she has a lot of toys .....she's very spoiled and she has a chew bone .....whenever she chews on furniture or cords or anything she's not supposed to,we tell her NO ! and put the chew bone in her mouth to chew on and tell her that is what she is to chew on but that doesn't work very well! |

| ![]() I have a chewer also. I tried the vinegar. Didn't work. I'll try the deodorant next! I catch her chewing doorframes and baseboards and also chewed my grandmas rocker I have. That made me mad! Lol. She has chewed up all of her toys that are stuffed and her bed! Yes, anything she can chew she will. |

| ![]() Buddybear loves his bully sticks, antlers and stuff toys. He won't touch a nylya bone. They all have their own preference. |
