| Revelation After Buddybear was in the ER he spent a few nights in his own room/space and was extremely unhappy with high pitched yelping. Sleeping in our room was not an option due to my constant ups and downs during the nights. I made an executive decision and brought him into our bed to sleep on top of the covers. He is more affectionate than he ever was. Also I think more obedient! Something wonderful has come out of his illness. |

| That's great ! I'm sure that it's so much better for him to be happy and content during his recovery time. Sometimes we just have to go with what our heart tells us !!! Wishing him a speedy recovery. |

| Two legged or four legged, when they don't feel good they want their mommy!

YT 1000 Club Member | My Yorkies sleep with me and my daughter's Yorkie sleeps with her. I sleep so much more soundly with their little bodies pressed up against me (they are on the covers usually). Teek will sleep anywhere near my legs and feet usually. Rowan typically sleeps by my hips, back or even curled up in my arm. I love the feel of them at night against me. I am not a sound sleeper and have problems sleeping. Once we got Teek and put him in our bed I immediately slept better. We got Rowan and he started out in a crate next to our bed, but would wake up at 6am. We moved him to our bed and he sleeps until 8-9am. Then he peed on our bed 3 times in 1 week and back to his crate he went. Last night I begged my husband to let me take him out right before we went to bed and if he peed outside let him sleep in our bed again and see how it went and so back in our bed he went. I will be more careful and make sure he pees outside before he goes to bed with us.

YT 2000 Club Member | dog If you know yorkies you know they want to be with us. They keep their eyes on us. Mine do not like to be left alone. I have a soft chair in the room and sometimes Jojo sleeps there. If you let them be close they will in turn be your protector and friend. A companion far greater than most people. Nothing like the faithful love of a dog. |

| I sleep with 5 Yorkies in my bed every night....make that 4....my precious little Lexee crossed peacefully over Rainbow Bridge two nights ago....she was curled up in a precious little ball, pressed right up next to me where she has spent all 12 years of her life, right at my side. I am so glad she was right where she has been all her life, right at my side, peaceful and content and happy.....I hope she was dreaming of her favorite thing in life, chasing birds up and down the fence! |
