Made a huge mistake I put her harness on to go for a walk and forgot that someone was coming over to drop something off. So of course I can't leave until they get here as no one else is home but me. Dutch has been whining non stop and staring me down. She knows her harness means walk time.......she is laying a heavy guilt trip on me.

I totally relate!! Piper has my get-home-from-work-routine down to a science and knows that when I take empty coffee cup to kitchen, it's time for HER WALK. If I deviate by say, taking a quick phone call, she jumps from couch to chair to her harnesses and telling me to hurry (got no choice but a quick call). Then she barely allows me to slip on my shoes (jumping, bouncing, barking) cuz I've wasted so much time already...! But oh those cute, bright, trusting little eyes melt me every time! "I wish dogs understood: 'We're going in five minutes." (Do I ever...!!!)

I just got that 'it's walk time' as soon as the harness was in sight. We had a nice walk tonight. Nice and cool, little breeze. Lots of goose poo though! Glad she's not too interested in it. We did have a goose hiss at her. Guess she got too close.

Aww, that is so sweet that you feel guilty! I do things like that to Teddy all the time and feel bad until I remember that he pees on my walls, aggravates me daily and is very unapologetic about it all...Then, I kinda feel like we're even ..haha!
