| False pregnancies happen....but maybe she just has one pup so she isn't as big...be sure to let us know what her vet says!

| YT 1000 Club Member | Any news on what the vet said? Puppies are so cute! I am sure the vet will get a better guess at if she is pregnant and of course an x ray would help if they think she is. Just remember that vets are not always 100% correct. I have 2 15 week old puppies and about a week before they were born my friend had the mama x ray'd and they told her there were 3 puppies. She had a litter of 5 adorable babies! Mine are also a mix. Please don't judge all of us on here by what a few say. There are a few that are absolutely against breeding like that. My friend breed her 2 dogs so that I could have a puppy. She had at least 3 homes lined up for her puppies before she ever bred them and a few more people who were interested in possibly getting one when they were born. I had pick of the litter. My daughter got to pick out her own puppy for her 17th birthday. My husband and I fell in love with one of the other puppies though. A couple weeks before we were to pick up our daughter's little girl my friend contacted me and told me that the little boy we like was the only one without a home and asked if we would consider taking him too! When I posted about my friend breeding her dogs so I (and a few of her other friends) could have a puppy I was blasted on here too by a few people. I know her dogs and I also know the grandparents to my puppies, as a mutual friend of ours owns them. Better than most of the rescue dogs I take in where I don't even know the dogs history. We love our puppies, even if they are a mix. They look like Yorkies and act like Yorkies. LOL! Good luck if you have babies soon. I would love to see pictures. Welcome! I hope you stick around.

| I know your disappointed but think of it as a blessing. Get her spayed and love her as a pet. Carrying and whelping a littler can be dangerous and very painful so let her not have to do that.

| Sorry to hear your dog was not actually pregnant... Just for future reference dogs generally only carry pups for sixty something days if by day 54 you can't see or feel the pups moving around when the dog lays on its side, there may be something very wrong. |
