YT 1000 Club Member | ![]() I am glad that she responds to the name Nina, even if it isn't the name you wanted for her. I wasn't going to change Teek's name as he had his name for 9 years, but he would not respond to his old name at all, so I changed it and within 2 days he was responding to his new name and actually paying attention to me. She may not like toys now, but keep trying. I had Teek almost a month before he played with a toy with me. She has to be comfortable and feel safe enough to let down her guard enough to play with a toy. It took Teek a little while for that and he loves to play, but only when he is in the mood usually. He likes to play in the evenings mostly. Good luck with Nina and she will be a regular member of the house and fitting in just perfect in no time.
