| running from nothing Hi anyone have experience with their yorkie running like something is chasing them?? she does this when something is bothering her--in the past and ear infection ( but also shook her head a lot and scratched at her ear)a uti(also frequent urination and redness and irritation at sight) and kept me awake most of the night each time she has had this go on.This time it has been 4-5 days of her running in the house like she being chased and cowering and acting tense yet no other symptoms. She's eating ,voiding barking like normal and sleeping. Not sure what to think but worried --can't get hold of her breeder as she usually guides me better than the vet. any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. thx andrea |

| This may seem silly but, does she have gas? Bubba acts strange when he has a gassy episode. He looks like you have beaten him and runs or slinks away, looking back behind him like I did something to his butt. Sissy runs, then sits down quick and stares at me when she has a little piece of dry poops stuck to her hair. Or possible anal gland problem? If she continues to act strange I would consult your vet and get her checked. How old is she?

| So I checked her sacs again they are empty and her temp is normal---she has an appetite and going for walks and wanting treats --but is running cowering and has the crazy wide eyed look at the same time----just hate wasting time and money and stress to her going to the vet when she has no medical symptoms of anything wrong as she has had in the past---she does have allergies were she bites her feet a lot and runs from that but she isn't biting at her feet either--should I try Benadryl to see if its that?? |

| Mi Gigi is 11 years old and has been having these types of running scared episodes recently. It's not every day and I don't know what brings them on. Sometimes it could be a bee it a fly that bothered her outside but at times she is inside. She has slid stated urinsting very frequently but her appetite and disposition are fine. I read that irbid common to have UTI fir senior fogs, what do u do about it? Antibiotics? |
