| Maddie my Rescue Yorkie arriving on Saturday! Hi all, My rescue dog Maddie is arriving on Saturday. I can't wait. It'll be a whole new world to me but I'm really looking forward to it. Maddie was rescued from a puppy/dog farm and they estimate she's around 3/4 years old. Poor little girl has had a rough start to life so I'll be looking forward to giving her a better one. Here is a pic of Maddie from the rescue centre. I'll post more when I have her here and she is settled in. http://tinyurl.com/ka6r546 I'd imagine I'm going to have lots of questions seeing as she, most likely, hasn't seen the outside of a cage in her short life thus far. |

| Oh my gosh!! I love her You are both so lucky and blessed to have found each other. I have no doubt that it may seem like you are rescuing her, but it will turn out that she's rescuing you, lol. If that just means with lots of laughs and love!! My little rescue Sunni just brought me back to enjoying life, instead of muddling through each day...I hope you enjoy beautiful Maddie for many happy years. |

| Well, that was a fun first night She's doing great though, all the bad habits aside. Here's another little pic to show you that she's loving her new home. To be honest, it's like she's always been here.... http://tinyurl.com/otr74tm |

Anyway, I moved her up to the bedroom (in the crate) and she's much happier. She's come on so much even I'm surprised. She's walking fine on the lead now, goes to the toilet outside since yesterday (we haven't had any accidents in the house since the first day) so that's all going well. She's happy to sit in her bed here beside me and I've had her outside in the back garden too. Next week will be a bit of a challenge as I am back to work. I work 3 days in the office and 2 at home. So I'm going to test her this week to see how she is on her own. | |
