Thank you, her eyes and nose are puppy like and the looks I got were like being scanned somehow. I've appreciated really small dogs all my life and now late within it I have two of them!

I have a little gal who is 8.5 months and around 3.5 pounds AND boy do we love her. She is the queen of our house. Four children here but we are used to our bunny and maltese- so we only are used to small, though this little gal loves her dresses and riding in a car seat-she also wants to be constantly in the back yard chasing sticks and squirrels. She definitely thinks she is a dinosaur around other people, but to us-we adore her!

Thank you so much for this story. Apparently 'Holly' loves car travel and I already have an elevated 'box seat' with a safety harness for Crystal, so if she fits I'll buy another. I think within our apartment she'll enjoy the space and the comparative privacy.

Being retired we know some wonderful quiet walks around here too. I have been warned off taking a small Yorkie, but I'm convinced as we are both retired and have plenty of time we'll adapt. I'm sure Irina will soon get busy with her new wardrobe too!:)

OMG she is absolutely adorable, that face, perky ears, beautiful bright eyes, coloring, I am in love with her. I am so happy for you, Crystals lil sister, her forever buddy. Your long search was well worth it. Congratulations.

Yay I am so happy that you are going to get her!!!! She will be a great companion for Crystal and it is great having 2!! The best feeling is watching them cuddle and fall asleep snuggled together!!!!! I am so happy for you and she is a beautiful little girl!!!

Thank you, Spoke with the owner/breeder just now who says she's convinced 'Holly' knows whats going on, as she keeps looking out of the window every time a new car draws up. She added she went very quiet for about 4 hours after I'd gone - 'sales talk' - maybe but I felt something too!

I think she will too!! When we took Atticus and Cooper to the vet the other day..... the vet was holding Atticus to check him out and Cooper started freaking out and barking and trying to get to Atticus. He is the only one that is allowed to mess with Atticus ;)

She's adorable. She is the same weight as Teddy and they have similar noses.

I'm looking forward to the Trimmers as well. Crystal puts up a withering fight and the wee one one loves being combed, so it might go the other way round:).

Well here she is, all 4.12lbs of her and she hasn't stopped eating. She seems a little thin, every rib and her spine pronounced. Crystal tipped the scales at 8.82lbs, when we weighed them both, a veritable Monster by comparison! She's very withdrawn after sharing a home with seven Yorkies and Biewers and must also still be recovering from being spayed 13 days ago? Slept the night on Dad's pillow, loves being picked up and won't be separated from me. Had a little growl (tiny) at Crystal around 3am, when she heard the pitter patter of her claws on the laminate in the outside hall. Loves being groomed (rolls over and holds her paws up). Enjoys, boiled chicken, eggs and rice and a tiny treat of cheese! She stole my heart at first glance and Irina's at the airport too, when I disclosed her inside the car, hidden in my shoulder bag.

What a beautiful little girl! I'm sure you and Irina will take care of those ribs and spine with good meals. She probably misses her former friends but at least she is eating and bonding with you. How are Holly and Crystal relating to each other?

For early days, they're progressing well. This morning Holly dived into what Crystal had left in her breakfast bowl, who just sat there and let her enjoy it. They have kissed quite a few times and Crystal has been really good in the way she's giving her space and time. We make sure to praise and keep Crystal in everything, which isn't hard with such an 'active' little lady!

Ideally our first, will look after and mother this tiny soul.

Holly is just beautiful, it may take a few days for Holly to adjust to her new family, surroundings and new sister. I am so happy you found your perfect girl to join your loving home. How is crystal's reaction to the new kid.

Thank you, I certainly will. She's off to the groomer next week as her coat resembles a cheap wig in places and needs thinning and layering.

Thanks, perhaps it's supposed to be? By the way, I insured with John Lewis after all. They offered £3k cover p.a. for Vets fees, but if the condition prevailed into the next year, you can claim a further £3k and thereon. All the others would not allow this principal, as the ailment would qualify as an 'existing condition' upon renewal. This, plus your very valid point on underwriters (thank you again) convinced me. They charged £18.59 monthly, with a £140 excess for year one for both of my girls. This premium reflect a 20% introductory discount.

Thank you, she started scooting around this morning, so coming out a bit now and she's really quick on those little pins! Obviously enjoys all the fuss and attention too and has a beautifully calm demeanour, especially when we groom her. A tribute to the loving home of her breeder who was a very kind, considerate lady.

Here's a pic our friend took as we arrived home, which they sent me this morning.
