| Introduction Hello everyone, I am new to this forum. I have two yorkies, Daisy (3 yo) and Daxter (9 weeks). My male yorkie Max died unexpectedly last Thursday; he was only 15 months old. It was such a shock and so devastating. My 10-year-old son was heartbroken. We rushed Max to the nearest vet hospital where the veterinarian was able to revive him, but he died a few moments later. My son and I were distraught, so I decided that bringing a new puppy into his life would ease the pain. Max will always be in our hearts. Daxter is our newest addition to the family. I took Daxter to the vet yesterday for a check up. He weighs 1 pound. I don't think that he will be a big boy. He is adjusting very well. |

YT 1000 Club Member | Welcome to YT! My condolences for your loss of Max. Daxter does sound as if he'll be extra small, but he may surprise you lol. When I brought Rasta home he was 1lb 4 oz and I was paranoid about everything. |

| I'm so sorry to hear you lost your sweet little boy. I do feel that a new puppy helps ease the pain of losing one of your little loves. It doesn't make it go away, just helps to have something joyful to focus on. Nothing like a tiny little Yorkie to make your heart smile |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Hi and welcome to YT . So very sorry to hear of your recent loss - how did your precious one die so young, was he sick? I'm so sorry. I am glad you have other little ones to fill your heart though.
