I am starting a new club . . Called D.S.A . . Doggie Stuff Anonymous

I am an addict. . . I troll the stores and on line . .. PetSmart, Homegoods, Etsy, FB and more . . looking for my next fix. .collars, bows, toys ( that he has yet to play with on a constant basis) leashes, harnesses and more . .

I can't stop . . . Who else is going to join me . . I know many of you do it. . Do you think you need help ?

D.S.A. - that's too funny! I would probably do the same thing if I were home more often and had time. As it is, every weekend, I make the rounds to Pet Supplies Plus, Petsmart and Petland to check out their new merchandise and treats to see if there is anything that I want to get for my furbabies. My babies have more toys and treats than they know what to do with. I have a bag of toys that I have bought and keep adding to (because they are so cute I can't pass them up) that I haven't even given to the puppies yet because they have so many already. Harnesses and leashes, I only have one. I am waiting for the puppies to finish growing and then, look out. I check them out every weekend to see what new ones they have gotten and what ones I am going to want to get.

So yes, I guess I would qualify as a member of DSA, not because I shop so much online for my furbabies but because of making the rounds to all the stores every weekend. I rarely leave a store without purchasing anything. Do I think I need help? Mmm, maybe, but on the other hand, my furbabies are as spoiled and have as much stuff as my kids did while they were growing up. I have just transferred my shopping from kids to furbabies.

I FORCE Harry into sweaters in the winter...I buy REALLY blingy collars with 'appropriate time of the year' charms on (but he doesn't know that ;)), he's got leads galore with anchors, beach huts and goodness knows what else on...

I SCOUR London for unusual, whacky, amazing stuff that usually stays in his drawers...you see, we're all over the world...:rolleyes: :D xx

Omg does this mean that y'all will help enable my habit? Rasta and Veau really need the items I have in the W.Fields cart. It's waaaay beyond wanting at this point.;) Btw if there are any carrier addicts out there like me, (you know who you are!) did you know there is another carrier out that looks pretty darn much like the Jaraden Soho but comes in basic colors? Black, a kind of taupe/khaki, and and a camel tone? *faints*

Do you know how hard it is for me to package things and send them to other people? Especially the dresses. Which makes me want a little girl. *sigh*

If the title includes anything dog related I am in! I love different shampoos conditioners - and I shop the shows all da time for them. Then of course are the different specialty brushes n combs. Then we have to have a pulling harness and now tracking harness, various collars n leads. Then there is their swim stuff. I need at least one new life vest. My water toys need replenishment. Oh and hiking - we need another new backpack and I am salivating over a few different ones.


They have all the coats n stuff they need. But there is an awesome travel crate I am looking at.

Better yet, NO shipping charge and 10% off. :D

First step is admitting you have a problem? Then I'm in, lol. I'm exactly the same. I have a matching set of suitcases for all of Sunni's clothes, hair accessories, collars, leashes, shampoos, conditioners, every type of brush and comb known to man....beds, beds beds, blankets and yes..toys galore, lol.

Theres a story on NBC news about this very problem, lol. Its about people being overly indulgent with their pets. The people shown are a bit above my price bracket, lol. $32,000. for an indoor dog house, actual diamond and real pearl collars, spa treatments, doggie yoga classes, lol. We are not alone.

Okay...I'm pretty sure I'm ready to join the D.S.A club now. :cool: I considered joining earlier but I had to finish my online shopping first. :D

Thankful mine are not big on wearing clothes but toys, bows etc. I'm always looking and buying them something.

Right now I'm in Belleview Wa. My daughter and son in law went to a conference in Chicago and I came out to doggie sit their Great Dane puppy (read nightmare). His bark sends the fluid in my ears from my allergies crackling.

So we have been made a few visits to Petco looking for indestructible toys since he is a major chewer. When I take him in they just laugh. He is a big slobbery, mouthy, gangly mess. We have been doing a lot of walking to tire him out as his most active time is between 6-9 at night but that isn't working even with 3.5 miles.

Yesterday I spent 43.00 on indestructible toys. An orange ball that holds treats. They lie it wasn't indestructible he chewed holes in it.

My daughter will be home tomorrow and I return to my sweet little yorkies on Monday. I can't wait to have them both on my lap. This puppy that that likes to sit on my lap is 60 lbs. I wish I could post a picture but I'm on my iPad and only can do it from my computer.

Oh yes The W.Fields cart ! . .mine is usually full with buddy belts lol . . And yes I have a carrier addition too . . I have the Jaraden Soho is mustard. They don't make it in basic colors. . Also they are not making dog carriers anymore so if you see one BUY It !

LMBO. . . My sister has an Neapolitan Mastiff. She got it because she thought the puppy was so cute :facepalm: now he is a little over a year and still growing he blows through everything . . The only thing so far to survive him is a Kong extreme .it is the black one. The XXL Kong that you put stuff in. . I got it for him when he was a pup and still has it !

Since there are other grooming fanciers here, *cough* addicts *cough* has anyone tried this line from Chrisman Maltese? I want to try them sooooo bad, but I just bought CC shampoo/conditioner/detangler. I need a valid reason to get any of those products to try out lol. I'm collecting carseats right now and trying to figure out what size Snoozer to get. Poor Veau hates her Sleepypod unless she can attack it from the outside.
