| Looking for a groomer in GR Michigan We will be in Grand Rapids area for several months. We love Dinky's groomer in NC, because she is gentle and sweet with him. We feel he is safe there. He will definitely need grooming in about a month. Does anyone know a groomer in Grand Rapids area that you absolutely love and trust? |

| We are in Sparta, just one road west of Rockford. Thanks for the info. There is a groomer in Rockford. We stopped in there last year to take a look. At that moment, it was noisy and busy and the person we talked to did not seem to offer us any assurances when we explained how hard it is to hand over our little guy. I will look in again to see if it was just a bad time. Wylie's mom, Dinky does allow us to touch him wherever, except for his face. Also, both Dh and I are apprehensive about clipping his nails. Thankfully, he is weeks away from needing a groomer! |

| If you should consider grooming him yourself, someone on here shared a trick for nails. We wrap Barney in a towel with only his head out and pull out one foot at a time to clip. My husband holds him with his head facing the other way. It still is difficult, but it's much easier than doing it without the towel. Fortunately, Barney has mostly white nails so it's easy to see the quick. A few of them are dark and I usually don't clip them as short as the others.
