Welcome to Yorkietalk. My mom got a Shih tzu and a Yorkie puppy at the same time when I first started college. They were both wonderful, but our yorkie, Tiffany, ran the show.

Hi there and welcome! I'm a Shih Tzu and Yorkie mom and adore both breeds!! Though they are very different in so many ways. My Shih Tzu's have always been mellow and laid back, affectionate and truthfully not the brightest dogs in the world, much harder to potty train lol. They were fiesty as puppies, but NOTHING like my little Yorkie puppy. She's funny, silly, smart as a whip, energetic, affectionate and just plain adorable, lol. She's been really easy to train and teach manners to. You will love having a Yorkie!!!
