Senior Yorkie Talker | please help! my little girl throws up Hi... my yorkie is 12 weeks old and has thrown up hours after eating on several occasions. Do you think it could be her food? She eats science diet puppy. Is their something else I should try? Thanks in advance for your help

YT 1000 Club Member | It could be the food? Have you taken your puppy for her well puppy visit? Considering she's so young and can't stand to lose any weight I suggest you take her to the vet. Is SD the food her breeder had her on or have you changed it? |

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | I would talk to your vet about this as it is a fairly regular occurrence. If you go to the forum of Yorkie Health and Diet - there are some informative posts and also a stickey on how to choose a dog food. Royal Canin Yorkie Puppy formulae is often well reviewed by a couple of breeders here. I have used this in the past for my young pups.

Senior Yorkie Talker | Yep coles mommy.. she has had her wellness check and is very healthy. This is the food the breeder had her on. She is a bigger yorkie at 4.2 lbs at 12 weeks. I feed her 1/4 cup 3x a day. Am I possibly feeding her too much? Not enough maybe?

Senior Yorkie Talker | Yes Gemy, I had heard that RC is a good food. I have visited the forum you are referring to, great info. Thank you. She has another vet appointment next saturday.
