I don't think these people know how easy it is to spot a scam. It is truly a shame for the people who do think it is possible and get taken emotionally and financially. |

Here is a big tip for scammers... If they are just looking for you to pay shipping charges... Tell them to fly them counter to counter... This means it cost nothing at their end to ship a pup you pay at your end... See how fast they will dump you as a potential owner of one of "their" pups... Maybe mention this process on your next contact with this lady you are playing along... |

In one of our local site people from Africa posted about a yorkie puppy. I sent them a email and told them what I thought about them. He sent me an email really pissed off. My friend that has yorkies played along with him and he said to sent him the money just like this person has done with you. She has not email him back since the email about the money. It was a little girl that was about 6 months old. She was a cutie, I hope she wasn't a pic off your site. Sad thing there a people that will sent the money. |

Sadly this is what they do all day long. Looking for the people that will fall for these scams, sadly some do fall for this crap. Even within the US its a risk getting a puppy over the internet but Nigeria is well known for all the scamming they do. You will play along and that is great, they will as well, sitting back hoping you wire that money and give them the info they need to pick up. Once you tell them you are not stupid and know what their little game is, they really dont care. They move on to the next potential victim, making up sad stories and using gods name. People need to be more careful, I'm sure this has been mentioned before. That price listed for a yorkie is ridiculous, considering they also claim show potential etc. The original email sounds ridiculous to me as well but I guess there are people that do fall for this. Kimberly it is sad that those bastards are using your pictures. I don't think much could be done since they are in another country. Best thing is putting your name or website name in them and hope for the best. GOODLUCK messing back with these people. They do deserve it! |
Kimberly, you are getting really good at using the bad grammer like they do! At first it wasn't as bad, but with practice you are almost sounding like they do. You go girl! |

From: william smith <williams_smny@lycos.com> Date: Nov 16, 2005 5:20 AM Subject: puppy hi my problem is not just selling but selling to someone who will be able to take good care of it and give it the long existed love .so if u can guarantee its safety keeping every thing constant then its yours there is only one reason for me selling my pets: after the hurricane i made a trip to london , southafrica and presently iam in cameroon where i will only return early next year. the conditions here seems very unfavourable for my pets so i want to guarantee their safety. please don"t take this as a weakness but a mutual help. i will take care for all tranportation expenses, provided you circum to my conditions.as of now i don"t really know what u want(the chihuahua or the maltese)as soon as u give me ur choice ,i will give u all neccessary info williams I emailed expressing my interest in a local pup only and then I never heard from him again. It makes me sick to see them use human emotions as a tool to their scam. They make it seem like they really care about the puppy and wanting to place them in a good home, money isn't a priority, they're honest because they're christian, etc etc. Kimberly your emails crack me up! i'm glad you're planning to feed the pups the best food possible: puppy chow. hahhaa! i wish thre was some way for us to scam the scammers.... |
It's a freakin shame that people are getting away with this  |
When I first started coming to yt I got an email like this. I am to nieve I guess cuz I almost fell for it but I talked to V and she set me straight.. Now I know this scam but some ppl like me who are blonde..lol...just didnt know that ppl could be so mean ....Thanks Kim for posting this to show other new ppl like me that this can happen. |
LOL !! Kim YOU NEED TO BE UNDERCOVER !! You are GOOOOOOOOD !!! lol - go girl - you got all the lingo down and man...I bet they are already countin that "Money" and HAHAHAHA when they realize YOU SCAMMED THEM ! All RIGHT ! Christy honey - it's a scam LOTS of people fall for....nothing to feel bad about ...these people are GOOD at what they do. |
This is hysterical! I LOVE the " You make my heart warm" :lol tears I'm so looking forward to the follow ups! |
So what's the deal? Anymore correspandance from them? |
You are good at playing the part! :D I can't wait to see what else she says! |
Anything new from your Nigerian friends, Kim? This is awful! And what is the deal with the Christian home?! Is this to avoid anyone trying to convert them to being little Jewish, Muslim, Agnostic... etc. yorkies?! That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard! I too would love to be a fly on the wall when you send them your website address and they see "their" puppies on there! Did you ever get a more clear explanation on how this woman knew they were your puppies? It's sad that some people do fall for this stuff. |
This is getting really good.... Go get'em, girl!! :D |
Oh, Kimberly...better go and get those boots on! It's getting deep! :D |
Kimberly, Have you considered writing fiction, I think you would be on the best sellers list in no time. |
Wow, I wish that I would have joined this sight about three months ago! Dont laugh, but I am such a trusting person that I actually fell for that scam! The man said the exact same things. i sent him $530.00 and I of course never got the puppy! I was so heart broken. Man I cant believe these people. Hopefully that saying what comes around goes around really happens to them. That is so sad. I have a baby now, but instead of spending 500.00 dollars I ending up spending $1030.00. But forgive and forget, i have my own baby now. :( |

This is no laughing matter... It is these scammers way at getting you hook line & sinker. They are good at what they do... down to stealing other\'s pictures... I am so sorry this happened to you... :( Usually these scammers are telling people all they want is the price of shipping as I posted earlier on this thread if that is the case tell them to ship the puppy COUNTER to COUNTER!!! You pay for the shipping at your end and no money is exchanged... If they are a scammer they will not email you back!! I know I have called them out before on this... I have gotten a couple of emails back saying "How I am just stressing them out, so it wouldn\'t be in their best interest in dealing with me!!!" Please the only stress was I caught you scamming!!! |
