Once again you all give the best advice! Since getting Spice,I have been looking for a chew for her that was healthy , not too hard for her teeth( she will be 6 mo Fri.) and she likes. Thanks to you all i found something! Baby carrots. I tried blueberries - no thank you, I tried frozen peas-she likes them but I wanted something she could chew on, so I gave her a baby carrot when I was making my corn beef yesterday and she loved it!!!! Thank you AGAIN.

That's great! If you don't have a dehydrator, that might be something worth investing. I make chews/treats with fruits/veggies and furbutts absolutely loves them! Also.... corn beef sounds really good.... Can you send some?... LOL

Magnus you bring your furbaby and come right on over!!! LOL No dehydrator, that is something I will have to put in my budget. I want to buy Spicey a couple outfits and pair of pjs first and living on SS and being disabled it takes time to save. My poor baby sleeps naked ( I did get a preemie onesie at the thrift store and cut off for her) and has 2 little dresses I found there and tried to remake for her( I dont sew) and she loves wearing clothes! She has given me more happiness in the 6 wks I have had her than I do believe all my other furbabies did. Alhough my little JR terrier ,Sugar , brings me alot of joy and love. When my son got her for me I dont think he wasnt thinking of all I would need for her, right now her vet is the most important.

Just a word of caution....of course, this probably only happened to me!!!....but I had one of my babies choke on a piece of the baby carrot.....she bit the end of the carrot off and it shot right down her throat! Just be cautious and watch your baby so in case it happens to you, you can help her!

| Mine get home made "bones" and also dried fruits. The bones are baked very slow till hard and I keep them in the freezer to make them even harder.
