Picked up puppies yesterday

Took them to the vet today for their puppy check and they passed with flying colors except for some ear mites. The breeder had already treated them once, but the vet prescribed 2 liquids to put in the ears for 10 days. Raider came face to face with one of our pet(?) squirrels today and it was a standoff for a few minutes. Afterwards, they ignored each other. Addie watched from between Joan's feet. Raider is the explorer. Hasn't found a leaf or a bug that he doesn't want to eat!

I am sure the pet squirrels are a thing of the past. They all have fleas, but we have had several over the years that would sit in our laps to eat and a couple that would venture inside the back door. The wind blew the door shut one day and talk about a frantic squirrel! Luckily she didn't get hurt crashing into the window.

Never a dull moment.
