| Maybe I should throw Diamond a party She knows a couple of cute dogs that can come over. Maybe I should give her a party. Since her favorite color is yellow I might buy yellow ballons, yellow plates for the dogs and get alot of free toys for them to take home. That would be a great gift to give my Diamond. Only if she would be a good girl and stop running out the door.

I know it was some thread I read on here that gave me the idea. I have no kids so Diamond is like my make-up. I do everything for her to spoil her little behind.

| Definetly go for it!!! Bruce was going to have a 1st Birthday party last week, but unfortunatly was injured and has to spend time "resting" meaning he has to be crated for about 20 hours a day for the next month! In liue of a birthday he is having a "coming out party" as soon as the orthopedist okays this...We are inviting pup pals, having cake, giving out treats, etc! Diamond would have a lot of fun doing the same thing I am sure!!!

| anyone wonder WHY Diamond is always "running out the door"? LMAO And, WTF? I'd like to know how she figured out Diamond likes yellow best? I LOVE this lady ... well, not really, but she's funny as hell |

| Missy has a favourite colour, it's PINK. I can tell because all of her fav things are that colour. She has 4 beds, she always sleeps in the pink one. She likes her pink blanket the best, and out of all of her toys she prefers the pink ones over the rest. She's a total princess.

| As per petplace.com: Dogs do see in color, but their perception of color is not the same as it is for people. They cannot distinguish between red, orange, yellow or green. They can see various shades of blue and can differentiate between closely related shades of gray that are not distinguishable to people. I did not copy the entire article, though interesting. But, this is all the proof I need that Miss Diamond could not possibly have favored yellow over all others |

"Dogs do in fact see "in color", as shown by the fact that a dog's eye contains both rods (which we associate with B/W vision) and cones (which differentiate between colors). While humans' cones are attached to neurons that react to light at 435nm, 545nm and 570nm, a dog's cones react at 429nm and 555nm. This means that a dog sees somewhat as does a human with red-green color blindness. This means, for instance, that what a human perceives as red, a dog probably perceives as green, and what a human perceives as yellow, a dog sees as a nuetral color -- gray. Canine eyes also lack another human trait: the fovea, an area especially dense with detail-sensing cells. As a result, their detail vision is not as good as ours. But they make up for this by having much better night vision and greater sensitivity to movement."
