I've been used in a scam 3 Attachment(s) or my puppy pictures have.... I am so pissed, right now I cant see straight! She is still looking for those two puppies :confused: then I went on to puppyfind.com and found 7 listings with pics of my pups, New york City, Texas, California and Chile all have different email addresses. OMG I WOULD BE so pissed ! Well - I AM pissed... for YOU ! and those poor poor people getting scammed - how can these people live with themselves ? I hate to say this - but you should WATERMARK Every picture you have on your site with "YORKIEPASSION (insert State here) - Do NOT COPY" and that can help.... unless they photoshop it all out - that just SUCKS ! |

How can people possibly do that to other human beings. You have to work just like they do ,and they are not compassionate enough to say hey this is wrong ,and we're not only playing with their money ,but their hearts. People can be so cruel ,and thats why I would never buy a dog off the net. |
I've sat and re-read the post, and this just really disgusts me. So many "two bit" breeders out there looking to make a buck. Stealing pics of other puppies to pass off as your own has got to be the lowest form of breeding/selling pups that there is. I HOPE YOU CATCH THESE LOSERS AND IF YOU NEED MY HELP, IN ANY WAY...PM ME! It would almost make me feel "violated". |
You need to fnd a way to get in contact with puppyfinder. Tell them that these people are frauds ,and they need to get their Ip number. |
Omg!! This samething happen to me when I was looking for a yorkie..I got an email with some pics in it saying they had 3 babies available and sent pics of them. I was then looking online at pics and notice one of the pictures the lady had enailed to me in images on google. I emailed her back and asked her why she took pics off someone elses website she replied because it looked JUST like her puppies and her camera was broke. Funny thing was she wanted on 500. for 2 puppies which included shipping, however she would ONLY take Western Union. I work for a very large bank and know that Western union is a way people can scam you big time. So, I told her to grow up and stop trying to scam people who actually WORK for their money$$!! |
It's really hard to photoshop a huge watermark across your picture out so it would be a good idea, as much as i hate to do it as well, put a big watermark across your pictures. I would also HIGHLY reccomend contacting puppyfind.com and let them know! B/c they CAN do something about it! |

OH how HORRIBLE!! Good LUCK! I sure hope you can help them thwart these idiots. All of the pictures we post here are easily copied off the internet. If there is a creep out there taking pictures, there may be OTHERS of us who have had beautiful puppy pictures stolen from here. It might be a good idea for anyone who has posted beautiful puppy pics to go check out puppyfind to see if this is so... I sure hope not, and I am really sorry to hear your pups are being used like that. :eek: |
Info If you can provide all the info about this person to me and maybe others here too will help we can all email puppyfind and tell them of this issue maybe more then 1 person emailing them will help also this is a form of internet fraud and there is things that can be done about this..It is a federal offense |

This INFURIATES ME as I think when we first started looking for another yorkie, we were being scammed by the woman that sent us pics of the yorkies she had for "sale". She sent us a collage similar to the one you posted, and when we asked for more specific pictures of the females (as that's what she said she had left), she never got back to us about that and dodged just about every question we asked...plus wouldn't let us come to her home. I don't get how these people can live with themselves, especially scamming people out of money when all they want is to be a loving yorkie parent. It makes me SICK. :mad: :mad: :thumbdown |
That is SO horrible! I'm so mad for you! UGGH!! And she's listing YOUR dogs for so cheap....think of how many people may get scammed. :( I'm so sorry and I hope you can do something! |
LOL Somebody was posting the same question I asked at the same time. I think if the lady does not answer you about how she found you... That would also make me suspicious . |
:eek: :mad: OMG, that is soo disgusting that someone would do that. i feel bad for you and that poor person being mislead- at least she was able to find out that they came from you and alert you to it. thats so ridiculous. let us know how it goes with getting through to Puppyfind.com, they need to step up and be held accountable for this kind of thing so that it can stop happening. soooo many people tried to scam me on that site when i was trying to find a puppy, but i was pretty much onto them with the"relocating england/africa/ japan /peace corps" BS :thumbdown :thumbdown :thumbdown ... i wonder how she was able to find out they were your pictures? at any rate, im so sorry<3<3<3 |
The last link said "these puppies are willing to go to Christian homes". My goodness. The level some people will stoop to. I'd love to put these people in their place. I'm going to start putting a transparent "butterfly yorkies . com " on all of my puppy pics that I post. I just can't believe you were a victim to this and I am so sorry. I would do all I could to pursue these losers!!!! |
Kim...there are SO many geniuses out there who just sit there inventing ways to get our money - be very careful dealing with this person AND protect your pictures on your site.... What a shame this happened but it's a HUGE lesson for anyone looking at new puppies - You have to be VERY VERY CAREFUL ! IF Anyone is from a foreign country - RUN - there's the free or very cheap puppy - you just pay shipping up front - RUN.... there's the Nigerian Scams and the scams where a Seller will have you WIRE them money - RUN.....DO NOT DO IT !! There's a Cashier Scam going....bogus Checks...man ...too many to list !! This is just the kind of thing that cost people their money & their trust ...but the worst thing is...they never get a puppy and are heartbroken - it's so MEAN ! |
I am so sorry this has happened to you. It is just terrible that these people have stolen your pictures and are trying to pass them off as their own. If I were you I would contact Puppyfind too. At least maybe you can get it stopped that way. |

At least not to my knowledge. I'm sure most people around here will recognize it as a scam, but what is bad is that they are using the pictures of your beautiful puppies to scam people. And then if you should show someone a picture of your puppy they might get the impression that you are the one who is dishonest! (Not any one on YT, of course, but there are some people who don't belong to this site!) This whole thing really makes me mad, and it has nothing to do with me. I don't even know you personally, but I'm as upset as if it had happened to me, or to a close friend! I sure hope you can find out more about this and put a stop to it! Good luck!! |
