| Smaller than I thought? When i picked up my puppy i didn't know anything about standard sizes and the falsely understood "teacup". I met her parents that looked good to me ( 3.5 lbs dad and 5 lbs mom, supposedly but in retrospect may have been a lie and they were bigger) fell in love with her immediately and that was that. She is currently 2 lbs and charting to be 4-5 lbs which I'm glad to hear is generally a small but healthy weight. Anyways i can barely imagine a full grown yorkie at anything less than 4 lbs and imagine she's still going to be really tiny! Can you guys help me with some pics to help me references weight to size? I hope she grows big enough to go up and down the stairs or get onto the sofa with me! a lot of pics aren't next to anything that really helps me tell the actual size of the dog.

YT 1000 Club Member | My Yorkie is 7 lbs and to me he is tiny! We have always had big dogs and even growing up my small dog was a fox terrier who weighs twice what my Yorkie weighs. If yours is too small to get on the couch easily make little stairs at one end of the couch for them to climb up to get on/off the couch easier. My Yorkie jumps on the small couch at the foot of my bed and then from there jumps onto the bed to make it easier. In the morning he just waits for me to lift him off the bed and carry him upstairs with me. I think a 4 or 5 lb Yorkie would be super cute, but my 7 lb guy is pretty awesome just as he is. I carry him around all over with me and he really doesn't get heavy for me so I guess him and I are just perfect for each other. Today I was holding him and just looked at him and said "where have you been all my life?" He just snuggled against me, I think he was thinking the same thing I was. Good luck with your little one. I hope they end up the perfect size for you

| My babies are 10 and 11 pounds and I still feel like they are small. They are easy to take places and both of them can fit in my lap.

| You said she is presently 2 lbs, however I didn't notice if you said how old she is. My Zoey is 2 lbs also, but she is 5 months old. I think she is rather small, but her vet says she is very healthy. You can see pics of her in her album on my visitor page. |

| Wow she is so small and cute! Kali is about 11 wks so she still has some growing to do. I'm guessing she'll be 4-5 lbs. Does that sound about right? How big is your baby supposed to get? She is adorable.

| Thank you! Zoey should weigh about 2.5 - 3 lbs full grown. |
