| Fun things to do to keep your yorkie entertained during winter? It has been really cold and snowy lately so I haven't been taking Chloe out as much. I feel really bad because she sleeps a lot and she's probably a little bored. What are some fun things to do to keep her occupied?

| Hide and seek, chase and tug are great indoor games. Laser is a little iffy (no disrespect to Wylie's Mom intended!). I use to play laser with my pup, and then it was pointed out to me that it can create obsessive behaviour, because they can never catch the laser. I would imagine some dogs would be fine, but I just decided not to take the chance. |

| Barney likes to play hide and seek with his toys. After we've played a few rounds of "fetch" (not really fetch because he runs around me in circles with his toy showing off for about 5 minutes before releasing it); I will put the toy in a blanket so that he can dig it out. This buys me a few minutes before he demands that we play again.

| When I had carpeted steps and Piccolo was much younger, she loved for me to throw a piece of dry dog food down the steps so she could go get it. Then she would run back upstairs to do it again. It was amazing how quickly she wore out with this little fun game. Someone posted this idea on YT a long time ago and I was thankful for the idea during the winter months.
