My little Shredder My little Kiara hates to be left alone. When we leave to go to work we leave her in a gated hallway. Kiara does not like this at all and this week she started shredding her Wee Wee pads. For obvious reasons this is not good. What would you suggest to do?

I just bought a ugodog on Amazon. The best $50 ever spent! I use it with newspaper and it's working like a charm. I like that she can't shread anything and her paws don't get wet. Not having to buy pads or wash pads is also a huge plus. I get newspaper for free. She took to it right away. You can also use puppy pad holders. There are different types everywhere including Petco and Petsmart.

Hi I found one of those plastic frames that you put the pads in helps with the pad ripping. We got Bella one of those red balls you put treats in or kibble in and they roll it to get there treats. We would leave Bella with that and it gave her something to do, we also left music on and if it is night time we leave lights on. Hope that helps a little

I know the only thing that worked for me has been washable pads. My Reese loved to tear up the disposable pads even while in the holder lol. Now I put the washable one in the holder with no problems at all.

Obviously you must quit your job!!!! Every night about 1/2 hr before I leave for work Piper goes underneath couch all the way back to the wall, and turning her cute countenance towards the wall, she hangs her little head and refuses to look at me (believe me, I now truly to the depths of my soul, understand that expression...'hang-dog'). Fortunately, since she's 4 yrs, not too much mischief while I'm gone. I have a feeling your little girl is just getting started...I'll bet your little lamb chop will astound and amaze at her abilities to get into all kinds of baby calamities. I, for one, will stay tuned!!! "I think every family should have a dog; it is like having a perpetual baby; it is the plaything and crony of the whole house. It keeps them all young." --John Brown
