| Yorkie Talker | Thanks for the encouragement. .....It has been very difficult these past few days but it is comforting to know others understand the heartache. She just turned 13 last Tuesday,Feb. 3rd ,and I thought we had many years left. |

| My deepest condolences over the loss of your little Tawny Sue We lost our yorkie, "Baby" after 13 years of loving her. The pain does lessen with time. We finally were able to give our hearts to our little Sophie who helped us recover. Still, you'll never lose the love you have for your Tawny Sue and you'll remember all the wonderful times and special moments you shared with her. God Bless.

| I'm so very sorry for your loss. I came to YT to seek answers on Lymphoma. My baby Canyon - (will be 7 in April) was diagnosed with Lymphoma on Saturday, this past weekend. The diagnoses took my breath away. I took him to the vet for two lumps on his neck that seemed to be getting larger, I did not expect such a devastating diagnosis. We have chosen to go the antibiotic and steroid route and not do chemo. Canyon is still going for walks, eating, but probably not like he used to and I pray to have many months left with him, but realistically, I have read enough to know that this may not happen. I've read so much on Lymphoma the last two days and never in all my wildest nightmares did I ever think one of my dogs would get Cancer. If anyone has had a similar experience, I would appreciate knowing what I can expect, I feel so lost. Thanks everyone. |

| YT 500 Club Member | Always Texas, So very, very sorry. I lost my sweets a yr. ago with horrible GME. So very sad for our babies and us. We'll never get over it. Mr breeder who has my new little guy, his precious little girl he has had for 15 yrs has this too. She had lump come up on her jaw. This has been since last Nov. the Drs.inserted a feeding tube through her neck. My breeder decided he wouldn't put her through treatments. The Vet gave her through Dec 2014. Today is Feb. 23 and she is doing good. I pray you get lots of time with your baby. Maybe she will fool everyone. |

| Thanks everyone. As of today, he is still eating and still spunky, so I hope that means we have months and months. |

| I'm so sorry for your loss. I don't think you ever stop missing them but it does get a little easier with time. I lost my boy in September, 12 days before his 15th birthday. I'd had him since he was 9 weeks old. I still think of him and miss him every single day.

| Sorry about your loss. I understand how you feel as I also went through the same few years ago. You have my deepest condolences. "Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.... Author unknown..." |
