Just a quick question, I have noticed that Shooter's ears are very small, they barely can be seen in his hair on top of his head. I just think I noticed this only recently because up til now, we have been focused on his health. I guess they come with all size ears! lol

Shooter is adorable, I also would have found it impossible to give him back (that said), I hope it's smooth sailing from this point on. Please keep us informed.

Furry head, furry ears, maybe if the hair on his head was shorter the ears would be more noticeable, just a thought. He is just a lil beauty, hoping today he has improved a bit.

Lil Shooter is feeling much better this evening, only coughed a couple of times, which is a real improvement! His little ears are even standing again and showing up above his lil furry head! He is exploring the house, eating like a little pig and biting toes! We may be on the road to feeling better!

So happy he seems better. Maybe it is just a cold and not kennel cough. Anyway, those are things that can be fixed, and you are on it. He is so cute, and will really perk up once he feels 100%.

We are hoping and praying it is only a cold! He perked up so much last night he didn't seem like the same puppy, in to everything 90 miles an hour, from being a kissy lovey quiet little thing! But hey I was so happy to be pulling him off of furniture he was chewing and hearing him yelp and holler at me when he was in his puppy apartment yall will never know. Seems funny I am relieved to see him being a little toot!

I am so happy to hear this good news, that he is doing better and very active. Is he eating well, several times a day, to keep his blood sugar up especially with all the extra play time?

Sounds like you are finally having the kind of fun a new puppy should come with, and I know you are enjoying it.

He has helped my heart, so glad I made the decision to go ahead and welcome another love into our lives! I am still giving him the Nutri-cal for the blood sugar, that hypo is some scary stuff, he will be on that for a long time. He weighs about 2 pounds and I am ready for him to get a little bigger so my mind will be more at ease!

There is nothing like a little furry fluff ball to warm you heart. Good decision.

I've heard that you need to balance the Nutrical by following with some sort of protein food. If you give nutrical alone too often it can contribute to the big fluctuations in blood sugar. If he's eating good, and often enough, soon you will have no worries.

I am leaving his food with him 24/7 and he is eating and I have cut back on the Nutrical, I could see where it could fluctuate his sugar. He isn't hardly coughing at all this afternoon!

Yes, Clavamox, which I will give him until its gone, it is to treat an infection that could arise such as pneumonia, so definitely so!
