| *growl* frustration When Matthias first came home, we worked on housebreaking right away and he did great! for about a week and a half. Now, he's crapping all over again. *gggrrrrrr* He's also eating the poo (despite the Accent seasoning salt in it). Grose!! So we decided he is gonna go in to puppy training classes by the end of Febuary (the current classes are full). I'll tell ya one thing about this boy. Being a Biewer makes him every bit just like a typical German! And I know first hand as I'm married to a full German! Matthias is just as stubborn and hard headed and frustrating at times as his daddy!!! Thankfully I have 8 years experience living with my German husband so Matthias needs to brace himself for MY stubbornness! (I'm Irish! I might not be as stubborn, but I am hardheaded!) Other than that, he's doing really well. He's growing a bit as I've already had to loosen his harness. His hair is growing out long and silky. He's just a precious boy.

| I've heard that Biewers can be a little more fiesty than yorkies! Regressions in potty training can be so frustrating. Just out of curiousity (although I'm not sure I want that much detail!!), is he going to the bathroom and then immediatly eating the poop? I have no experience with this (thankfully!), but I know that they make products to help with that if the seasoning salt isn't working. I'm sure someone else could give you a name. Do you have pictures posted that I've missed? |

| Yes, he eats his poo right after he did it. Accent salt isn't working for him. Yeah, there are pictures and video links posted of my boy. Or you can check out my website - on the side bar of my blog is a box called Flickr with lots of pictures there. There is also links to home videos, one of which is when I first had Matthias placed in my arms. I'm currently taking more video of the little rascal. I just truelly believe it was soooo meant to be that he come to be my boy. I married a German, my three daughters are German, and now my dog is of German descent. So the German traits run strong in this house. He is just exactly like my girls.

| I've heard that it is because their systems don't completely digest everything yet, so they still think its 'food'. They usually grow out of it, but in the meantime eeeeeewwwww! Dublin still does it and it totally grosses me out!!!

| I've been told it's because they aren't getting enough protein. I'm switching him to Eukanuba when the Iams bag is almost gone, per my vet's recommendation. There's more protein in it.
