Petco pullies all Chinese-produced products! Thousands of pets have fallen ill after eating jerky treats in recent years, a trend some have linked to Chinese-made products. "We believe this is the right thing to do, and we're proud to take this step in the best interest of pets," Petco CEO Jim Myers said in a statement. "What we feed our pets matters." Petco has pulled all Chinese pet treats from stores - Jan. 6, 2015 Thought this was interesting and worth sharing!

Kudos to Petco! "Petco removes dog and cat treats from China -- first major chain to do so" "Walmart quietly pulled China-made treats from its shelves in 2007" but did not do so permanently or completely. Petco is the first! More should follow..... Petco removes dog and cat treats from China -- first major chain to do so

I think Petsmart had already pulled all their China treats a while back and thought Petco had set a date to do the same thing.
