| Harness all day? Just curious for those that have to leash your dog when you go outside for potty time, do you leave the harness on all day or do you put the harness on before each time you go out.

| Depends on the type for us. Buddy belts and the pullover puppia harnesses I take on and off each time the pups go out. But when we travel, they wear the nylon step-in ones all day long (with their ID tags)...very lightweight, thin, and comfortable. Toki and Teddy don't even realize they have them on! |

| When I first got Lexi I had her wear her step in mesh harness all day for a while. I had to do this because she would fight me every time I would put it on her to go potty. After she stopped fighting me to put in on in the morning, I stopped making her wear it all day. |

| I leave Dutch's collar on at all times as it has her id tags on but her harness I only put on when it's time to go outside. Besides I love watching her get excited when I pull out her harness. |

| Some days I leave it in, other days I take it off right away. It doesn't bother Blazer either way and his hair isn't prone to matting.

| I put Chloe's buddy belt on before her walk and take it off afterwards. It's a process but I think she's more comfortable this way rather than keeping it on her for no reason in the house.

| With new pup Lola, it's easier to leave it on all day. She's difficult getting it on/off often. Sometimes Jackson stays in his Puppia all day, but usually with him I'll just take it off - he's easy w/ getting it on/off.

| I leave their collars on at all times but the harnesses I only put on to go outside. If I leave the harness on Sissy mats because her coat is longer. Bubba doesn't as he is short.

| I do what several others do, Cricket wears her collar all the time, but I put her harness on every time before going outside.

| what type of harness do you use, I like the little mesh type and until she is well trained you can leave that on for most of the day, nothing worse than trying to get a harness on a moving puppy that has to go potty quickly

| She has the mesh one . Doesn't mat her hair . She's chewed through a buddy belt when that was left on all day but the mesh she was okay with .
