| I prefer the regular clippers over the guillotine style....I think those ones can crush the nail....I have the furminator brand for cat and dog....I included a pic. This style is my preference over the other. :-) |

| I've actually used regular baby/adult human clippers on my girl up until her claws couldn't fit over them properly. She seemed to handle them fairly well. I guess I went with those because it felt easier to measure out the tip. I mostly let my groomer handle that part for the most part.

| Black toenails can be tricky....the best thing to do is just nip the tips every couple of weeks.... |

| I like using the scissor type nail clippers. For puppies, a small scissor type nail clipper for cats will be perfect. I also sell them on my site, towards the bottom on this page: toplinepet.com

| I use Millers Forge 743c clippers. They cut cleanly, and I like the safety guard.
