The thing that bothers me also, besides the size of the puppys ( dogs) and the fact they seem to have no spirit in their eyes...but how are these dogs housed? I cant imagine that there could be that many underfoot supervised...Heck from reading all your post of all that can happen in a nano second to these small dogs~ How do you care for that many? Or is this a puppy mill where they are left in cages all the time? Please feel free to P.M. me ...Id just really like to know how one could care for so many fragile dogs?

that's crazy. 10,000? Some of the pups don't even look so pure bred yorkies. Maybe the 10,000 dollar yorkie is for people to spread the talk so his website would get hits and he would be #1 yorkie site.

Some of those pups are just plain ugly (I hate to say that but its true). Some have strange looking faces like the little female called "violet" and the little male called "Nitro" (go take a look, scroll down a little).. http://jdane1.homestead.com/teacups.html Its sad because these yorkies dont look healthy, they look kind of deformed to me (the ones I mentioned). I would never buy a yorkie or any other living animal online anyway, not unless I could visit the breeder, see the parents and check out where these pups have lived etc.

you know, i've always wondered... with people like him that sells "teacup yorkies" at such high prices, what happens to the pups if they aren't sold?

LOL! Now that would be a poop that I would look forward to pick up! Maybe he feeds them caviar? How does he sell them? He seems to have alot of full grown yorkies on his site so maybe he actually doesnt?

Im sure he does take good care of them. He probably would not want the puppies to die because they can only product 1 or 2. There is no way he will let 1 or 2 puppies die. They are worth 10,000

I agree, they arent worth $10,000 at all..Iv seen show quality yorkies for less than half of that. I would like to know why he (Jeff Dane) thinks they are worth that money though, because even if they are tiny that doesnt justify the price at all. Also,he seems to produce very tiny pups which means that he purposly aims for "tiny" when breeding which isnt good news, especially for the tiny females he must use. All that ocurrs to me is that when a tiny of his doesnt sell, maybe he uses her to breed yet more?..you never know with these kinds of breeders. I remember a long time ago (more than a year) he was trying to sell a yorkie pup that had been badly bitten and disfigured by another one of his dogs.He actually showed the pup and was asking for someone to take him home! It was expensive too and its back end was bald and very scarred, does anyone remember this? It was awful because where on earth was he when this happened? And where was the poor pup?? Responsable breeder my a**! I often wonder what happened to the little yorkie

| Those pups do have an odd, very unhappy look to them.

I've stated my views on that website in the past. I don't even go to it anymore because it just irritates me to much and it gives them hits on the site. The last time there was a discussion here about that place was the last time i viewed the site and back then I think I counted something like 60+ puppies for sale at one time. It's just un-real. I don't think that by having that many (and hired help or not) that they could all get the love and attention that they need. (I also think about how many adults there must be to produce so many puppies at one time, and what kind of LOVE are they getting?) Even with the hired help that they have, those are paid employees who are there solely to make money and go home at the end of the day and I don't see how they can truly LOVE those babies. If I ever need to hire someone to take care of my babies...please, someone hit me over the head!
