| For those who dry their baby w/a blow dryer..... Do they let you dry their head? I have a heck of a time drying Skittles. I can understand why she wouldnt want it blowing in her face but I hate putting her hair in a ponytail when it is still wet. I put the dryer on cool, brush her while i'm doing it and I've even tried holding her in my arm. But I don't give up. I get it as dry as I can before i pull it back. I was just wondering if anyone else had the same problem.

| sorry, shelby loves the dryer. i put it in a stand on low and warm and she curls up under it to keep warm. I can't even dry my own hair without her running to me for some of that warm stuff. |

| Mine allow me to dry their head and faces. I haven't given much choice though. I put the heat setting on medium and the dryer speed on anything other than high. They usually put their head on my leg and I direct the flow of air from the front of their head towards the tail. To dry the mustache, I point the air flow downward and use my fingers usually to be sure all the hair is separated and straight. When its almost dry, I use a flea comb to finish separating and straightening (or the brush carefully).

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Cali loves the blow dryer and will sit on my lap when I blowdry my hair. Before I dry her I put 3 hot towels right out of the dryer for her to roll in and she gets 80% dry that way.

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | My girls don't really like the hair dryer!! But they don't have the choice, we blow dry them on cool mode until they are dry, regardless...we don't want them running around still wet!! We just blow dry and brush at the same, the more we do the it they better they have become at it!!

| Olivia loves the blow-dryer. You mentioned that you use the cool setting, have you tried a warm setting? I'm not sure if it would make a difference, but it's worth a shot. |

Some pupsters don't like it much but its best to train them to accept what must be. Be sure to have the dryer on med or cool as you can easily burn their skin on the hot setting of a reg person dryer. Its like most other things with our babies - training training training - you have to decide who is training whom if you get my meaning.

| The sooner you start the easier it is for them to accept it or at least tolerate it. I started blowdrying Twinkie at 12weeks and been doing it ever since (5weeks now) every week. She seems to be enjoying it but doesnt like the air being blown in her face and that is totally understandable. When it is time to do her head I put it in the low volume and try not blowing in her eyes. Hope that helps!
