| liquid meds I have a question I gave my dog her liquid medication and I think I squirted it to fast into her mouth and she gagged a little bit but now she seems to have like this breathing issue where every so often she inhales loudly. Almost sounds like a reverse sneeze. She's breathing ok moving around ok and she just ate some of her dog food. Could it be she inhaled some of the meds? Should I be worried or will this go away? |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Most likely, she may have inhaled some of it up into her nasal cavity or something, so her breathing may sound "wet" or funny for a bit, which I think would go away in not too long. How is she doing this morning?

| I agree it does sound like she dis aspirate some of the liquid into her airway. Hopefully, it will clear but watch her to make sure no infection develops. |

| She is back to normal thankfully. Some of it probably just went down the wrong tube. Thank you! |
