I don't think you have to be nasty. Not everyone is going to like or think the same things are great. There are always going to be different prespectives an opinions that is what a message board is about sheesh.

No, every time bully sticks are mentioned you tell people not to use them because they break teeth. That is not true. You did not see your dog break it's tooth and neither did the vet. Your dog was in a crate when it happened. NO dog chews with it's front teeth unless it is trying to chew out of something like a crate. They always use side teeth for bones. Your dog may have a broken tooth but no one can say it was a bully stick that did it since no one saw it happen.

I always buy from best bully . com. Right now they are on sale. I always get the 12" standard thickness because they last a really long time. I used to get them on ebay but they don't sell on ebay anymore but they have lowered their S&H charge so I don't mind so much.

Gracie had problems with some of the other brands that were too soft. I guess she ingested too much at once and she had a bout of diarrhea. I like the best bully brand because they are harder and she has to chew a lot to get them softened.

Are they oderless?

They sell odorless ones but I usually just get the regular ones. She chews them on the floor so I don't really get bothered by the smell. I did buy the odorless ones once and she seemed to chew them up faster and there is still a faint odor. I think they are drained of all blood, etc., better than the regular ones because they seemed to be a lot lighter in color and a bit dryer. They cost a few cents more but worth it if you are very sensitive to the smell.

I've just had some Nasty ones here and there and it really makes her stink! And I have to sleep with her! She likes to chew right before bed...like I like to snack.:)

I think you need to get your facts straight before you start accusing people of stuff. Callie has broken two teeth neither a front tooth both teeth that are the huge cruncher teeth in the back. The first one was by chewing on a clip holder the zipper of her crate closed, the vet dentist was able to do something like what we do when getting a root canal and save a lot of the tooth and it cost over $1,000 and the vet dentist is who told me bully sticks are too hard but I did not listen and after she healed let her have them. The second one on the other side she was right at my feet chewing a bully stick when I heard a snap and she jumped up and I looked in her mouth right away to find not only part of the tip of the tooth broken but it cracked down the middle! I knew that tooth could not be saved it was to messed up so I fasted her and took her to the vet the next day for emergency surgery it cost me between $500 and $600. I saw that happen even heard it and I knew it was the bully stick. She had chewed them for 5 years no issues until then. Then wham. Heck yes I am going to tell people bulky sticks can break teeth I lived it, a lot of people on here told me it and I never listened and even the vet dentists said they were to hard. So like I said check your facts next time!

I am just so appalled you would say this and make people think I am lying or telling false I for when this is just full of false info! You talk like you know something but you don't all you little facts are wrong and off.

Some of the other brands I have bought are way too soft and they do get nasty and stink. That's why I stick with the Best Bully brand. They tend to be much harder to start out with and last longer. Their odorless ones are nice too.

That is because my dog broke her tooth on one. I actually saw and heard it. Plus the vet dentist and many other people have said the same. People deserve to know all the risks. My dog was hurting and it was expensive even though I was warned about the multiple times. I want to help others not go through that.
