Spay and neutering should i be worried

Have you discussed these issues with your vet? Obviously, neutering cannot be reversed and I find it unfortunate that the pros and cons were not discussed with you by either the breeder or the vet before the procedure.


I do not think your opinion lacks merit merely further investigation to substantiate the probability that it is the neutering which has resulted in all of the aforementioned issues.


Please do not be disheartened. You have done for your dog what you thought was right and socially responsible. In doing so, you have prevented unwanted pregnancies etc.


However, it is right and logical for you to question the validity of the procedure based on your experience. So, well done. I would question further with the vet and maybe do a little more independent research regarding the matter so that you can better manage your little dog and consider the necessity of the procedure at such an early age for any future pets.

Good advice. My hope is that people will thoroughly seek out information on this topic rather than relying on an online forum with comments and no absolute research to validate the concerns.

I would again suggest that the puppy be evaluated by a vet AND a board certified specialist. I am sure they will have the answers the OP seeks.
