| Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Crystal is a tunneler. During the evening, she's usually tucked up either on the pillow so she can take spasmodic licks at me ear. Or right next to me, so I 'travel' towards the edge and inevitably the floor! As soon as the room starts getting ready for bed, (lights, TV or radio, etc) turned off, she has already got inside, (usually in the nice warm spot I've just vacated). Following this initial re-location, which can be grumpy if she was slumbering, I get comfortable and await the re-settle procedure. This includes repeated and sometimes manic scrabbling of the inner bed sheet and excavating a 'passage' down beside dad. She uses her head a lot during this endeavor, presumably pushing up imaginary mounds of earth on her journey south. If we have the luxury of an afternoon nap, the look on her face when she awakens, with facial hair going every which way is a real picture. She doesn't seem to appreciate my amusement at her dishevelment either |
