| Hi, my name is Linda. New here. Sorry if there is any confusion, I used my husband's email address when I joined. I love yorkies and have been coming here frequently to read all the threads. My big problem is setting up my profile and avitar! I am on Facebook, under my own name but this seems harder to set up! Any advice! My husband and I are retired. In January our yorkie past away. She was 16yo. We were devastated and depressed. We didn't know if we wanted to get another dog. But I kept looking. In March we brought home a little 8week old male yorkie! I named him Sochi after the Russian town the Olympic Games were played, Sochi was born during the games in Jan/2014. He is 10 months old now and we love him to death!!! He is trained to potty outside, and does 95percent of the time. The 5 percent is our fault for not paying attention to the signs. I would have to say his one big fault is digging holes in the yard, lol. |

| Hi Linda, welcome. I'm sorry for your loss. But how wonderful that Sochi has come into your lives to help heal the hurt. You just can't stay sad with a puppy in the house. Our Gracie Ruth was that healer for us after our loss of Annie B. If you'll scroll down the list of forums you'll see one titled Yorkie Talk How-To Guide. Hopefully it'll help with any questions. This was my first message board to join and I remember it being a little confusing, but if I could figure it out anyone can. (I'm not the sharpest pencil in the box when it comes to internet/computer things. )

| Welcome to YT Linda, I to am so sorry for your loss. I know the feeling, Last Oct.1st I had to put down my 17 y/o lil girl, I was devastated, sick and lonely. Then I adopted my lil boy Cody, and life has filled my home again. My past girl was a hole digger also. dig a hole, bury a toy, fill the hole, then undig the toy, dig another hole, bury the toy lol. I have no grass in my back yard, my yard is and will always be for my pups. The front of my house is for me, grass, flower garden, the back is for my babies. I do have some raised garden beds that I keep fenced off, and a patio area, but the yard is basically the hunting grounds the race track and the hole digging. Can you give your baby a spot in the back for his play, hole digging?
