Any difference between the CC Buttercomb and the Madan combs?

I have 2 Madan Combs, the Ringside 6" and the pink Rattail comb.. not counting my brushes, lol. I wanted to add another comb to the collection.. why I don't know, but I guess I had the need to spend even more money LOL. Anyone have the CC 006 Butetrcomb and the Madan combs? Do you see any difference? I was going to get the 7.5" Madan Aluminum comb in pink to complete my Madan collection but I decided to go with the CC to try something new. I usually find myself using a little flea comb to take tangles out, so I picked the 006. If you have a CC Buttercomb.. which do you have?

I have both the Madan mustache comb and CC 006 comb. I like the CC a little better, but the difference in price between them doesn't justify getting the CC. I love the Madan comb also, so much that I have a few of them.

I think I have the Madan comb and I just love it! Jenny, a member here, sells them at www.toplinepet.com . She is just wonderful! You could def ask her questions about her products too. She also sells amazing brushes and other things.

I received the 006 Buttercomb and now that I have been using it for about a week.. I have to say it's definitely my new favorite comb. The hair really does go through it like butter! I don't know how it does this but I love it lol. The small size of it is very versatile to use on big areas like the body but small areas like the face, too.

I just purchased a Chris Christensen buttercomb for my Persian cats and I am in love with it. I've read nothing but positive reviews and everyone says that you will purchase several cheaper combs and end up with the CC buttercomb. I figured I might as well spend the extra money and get something I will love. I couldn't be happier with it. Haven't had a chance to try it on my yorkies though.

I just use a plain ol' pet store comb so have nothing to contribute there but this post made me miss my Persian cat...Kayla.


She was a blue Persian and weighed less than Teddy does now. I think she topped out at 4 lbs so ended up being sold to my parents as too small to show despite all the awards she'd won....


I don't envy you taking care of their fur, though! That was a nightmare!

Haha, I will have to post some pictures in the Brothers and Sisters forum I just adopted two, one adult and a kitten. The adult is a beautiful white with cream markings (doll faced) and the kitten is a black and white (peke faced). It hasn't been too bad, but I'm sure upkeep will be challenging. The buttercomb is unbelievable and I would definitely recommend it.
