I just use a plain ol' pet store comb so have nothing to contribute there but this post made me miss my Persian cat...Kayla.
She was a blue Persian and weighed less than Teddy does now. I think she topped out at 4 lbs so ended up being sold to my parents as too small to show despite all the awards she'd won....
I don't envy you taking care of their fur, though! That was a nightmare!
