| The nervous pooper Anyone else have a nervous pooper? I know lots of dogs pee when they are nervous, scared, or excited. My little love...poops. With no warming. I have been trying to socializer her in public. I brought her to Petco (she pooped while I was holding her)...I brought her to a friends house (pooped while I was holding her)...groomer, she pooped before I even tried to hand her off. It doesnt matter if I take her out to potty before we leave, she still does it. And, she doesnt make a noise, wiggle or anything, its like its totally involuntary. I am working on it, got some pup diapers and think maybe the more comfortable she gets the less she will do it. But does anyone else have this stinky little issue

| Sammy does mostly it's the vets office so we do not go inside until he goes outside and that works for us. He has pooped on my mom. Diapers you will find are not going to work it's just going to mush the poo into there hair and require a bath to get it off. It also won't be fair for her to go and then have to live with a full diaper.

| Poor pup!! I've never heard of a nervous pooper! My moms poodle gets nervous/excited and pees. I hope you find a solution for it, I couldn't imagine being constantly pooped on, lol! |

| My yorkie pouts when I leave him and hides out in the bathroom. If I try to pick him up before he gets over being mad (which sometimes takes hours) he will poop and pee. I've learned to just let him get over his mad and don't have that problem any more. It's almost like a revenge poop/pee because he doesn't want to be picked up. |

| My maltese poops whenever we go to the vets even if he pooped before we left. Zoey sometimes poops if I take here someplace that scares her. I just deal with it and always have Kleenex with me.

I have never heard of this before... Maybe find a way to calm her down during that first introduction. Let the person know no to try to reach out to touch her. Let her make that first move. Give them treats to give her to put her at ease.
