| Wet Beard Snickers' beard is constantly wet, from the eyes down. I wash her face every morning with a warm facecloth and use Angel Eyes at night. I've never noticed any gunk/crud from her eyes. But every Yorkie I see their beard is dry. I understand that when she drinks it'll get wet but s/b dry otherwise. Does anyone else have this problem or know what I can do to prevent the constant wetness? |

| How old is Snickers? Although she doesn't have eye gunk, does it look like her eyes are watering? Max had this problem when he was a puppy. Always had hair in his eyes. Are there any other possible irritants in your environment indoors or outdoors? If it is just the mustache and beard, is it possibly getting wet in the water bowl? I switched to small custard bowls and my boys' beards stay a lot dryer. What kind of Angel Eyes are you using? Is it the powder that you put on food or a topical? I think Angel Eyes is fine to use short term, but I wouldn't use it forever.

| when my yorkies were puppies thier eyes ran like crazy, and now that they're older when i have there hair tied up if theres any short pieces that fell out it irratates thier eyes and makes it run more. milo has a really think coat so when he drink water his face is soo wet, i thinned his beard out a bit with thinning shears, that way he still keeps his length it just made the hair not as thick so it drys faster when he has a drink, or it could be allergies to enviroment, products you use on him or yourself even, meesha sneezes and eyes run if i wear smelly hand cream.. or food if its the eyes running bad all the time. |

| Thank you for your responses and suggestions, I will maintain closer observance to make sure there is nothing irritating her eyes, or possible allergies but I've never noticed anything previously. Thank you |
