| Ear infection I suspect Benny may have an ear infection. Low energy, rubbing ear on floor. I will take him to the vet but wondering about your experiences?

| Lexi had an ear infection at 13 weeks old. Her energy level was fine, but she would rub her ears with her paw and her ears smelled really bad. Also she had some black stuff on the inside of her ears. I didn't see that until i plucked some hair out of her ears. A vet visit is always a good idea just too be safe. They just swabbed her ears and found she had a bacterial infection. Ear drops were given and she has had no problems since. |

| Ear infections are very painful. I would get him into the vet ASAP, especially since he is displaying low energy. Here is what can happen if an ear infection is not treated properly, in addition to hearing loss (warning, graphic photos): http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sic...going-vet.html Best wishes to your little guy.
