What's the most EXPENSIVE thing you've bought for your yorkie? Excluding your yorkie himself/herself, of course...;) |
His brother, Teddy. :D . . . . and vet visits. |
A doggie stroller!! :aimeeyork |
Car seat and or leg surgery. |
great thread. Now I could look at this question a couple of ways: Most expensive thing I have bought that Razzman never uses: His very fancy Petit Pooch satin/silk bed at about $100 It sits gathering dust in our bedroom::thumbdown Second most expensive thing I have bought that we have used about 7 times: His very fancy expensive purse type carrier $300. Rabies Titer at ~ $295 a time Wow that is one expensive titer! Most expensive accumulation of grooming tools ever:thumbup::thumbup: Gawd help me has to be over $600 or more I truly don't want to add up the costs in me head! A pro shoot day: He had a blast - I had trouble saying no to all the cute photos; ~~$2500 His most expensive Training and Fun Day at the docks $200 Now that I think about it; this is a depressing thread! Hmm... I'll have to say a new car. We haven't yet but we have completely change our minds about what to get so our pups will be more comfortable. |

We have also considered buying a different washing machine, a front loader, only to appease Max who thinks he must monitor our top loader for fear it might go off balance. :p |

ROFL Max is much braver than my big boy Magic. Only thing I saw Magic vaguely frightened of, was when the washer started bouncing across the floor making a gawd awfull noise He hardly ever goes in the laundry room now :-) |
1 Attachment(s) GEMY!! Too funny and so cute! The vet visits most assuredly; and an outdoor umbrella ($129) so Piper will do her business outside even when it's raining and variety of 'safe' chews--danged expensive and she ignores almost all of them; small Himlayan Dog Chews are my new favorite and I show my enthusiasm to encourage Piper--it's actually working (somewhat). Love your question and all the responses!!! |
CCL and LP repair so that she wouldn't be lame and in pain by the time she was 4 years old. Other than that, we did buy a new sofa. The old one was a big sectional that curved into an "L" shape and was about 1' wide at the top of the back. When she was a puppy she would jump on top of that and tear back and forth with the zoomies over and over and it scared the crap out of me. |
An RV. |
We have not purchased it yet but am looking for a larger motor home so Sophie has enough room for her steps to stay down at the bed and she can get in it anytime she wants to. :) |
1 Attachment(s) I'm thinking it was the Jaraden Soho Dog Carrier but it was well worth it! :D |
Another Yorkie to keep him company. |
So many toys this past year for Pippin...she just shreds them. I even had a $50 order from Drs Foster Smith and I was just about to hit the order button, when I thought twice...I need to give my credit card a rest. I cancelled it-until next time. |
A $2,500 6' cedar privacy fence to ensure their safety and give them all the room in the world to run around safely in. We have fenced in both our front and backyard and this is just the cost of the backyard fence, not including labor :p |
It'd have to be his vet care or his crate. I'm not really a frills and fancy kinda gal :) He has lots of toys and such, but nothing besides his crate, vet care, or him has been over $30, really. |
My poor little pooch is underprivileged , most expensive thing I think I have bought was a 65.00 puppia harness and leash |

I second that...the vet visits are killing me.... |

It is the collection of Buddy Belts with matching leashes ;) I should know. . I think it is the same LOL |
Vet care (luxating patellas and MVD) and a playmate. My husband sometimes calls Gracie "10K". |
Obedience classes, which didn't work, at approximately $300. I'm still mad about that |
My Tiki needed a playmate so we got her Meika. Meika had too much energy for Tiki so we got her Kayla and Karlee to play with. Trying to house train 4 pups within a year..... the best, most logical and expensive thing was removing all carpet in the house and installing 1,600 sq. ft. of travertine tile downstairs and 1,600 sq. ft. of teak wood flooring upstairs. All were good purchases that I do not regret. Life is fun and clean up is easy. |

Mine is stroller, vet bills, and their new sister Lily! But she was worth every penny! |

$4500 fence for backyard. It is worth every penny. |
For Chachi it was buying Jewels and for Jewels I bought her an expensive colar with crystals on it that is so beautiful no regrets on either purchase |
When Lacey was a tiny puppy I bought her a cute very small bed that she loved and slept in almost every night. The bed was very little and in my opinion (not hers) she had outgrown it. So I paid $89.00 for the same bed in the next size up. Same material, same color, just larger. It's been a year and she has yet to sleep in that bed. She still sleeps in the little bed and hangs off the side. I tried taking the small bed up and put her favorite toy in the larger bed. She just retrieved her toy and slept on the rug. |
