Outside of vet visits and the costs of owning and purchasing. In honor of all the pets I've ever owned, I started my pet supply website. To start the business was more than any one purchase that I've made for my pets in the past. |
A motorhome because we will not leave our baby with anybody. Susan |
for stitch id have to say my farm, our neighbors in town had both of their chocolate dobermans stolen, i began looking at property that week, didnt really figure it out for a few days, i had been saying in a year or two etc, but that fired me up, got the land, built the house, now i just got to figure out how to keep her out of the pond heh. Also after a friend was robbed in OK, they flipped her wheelchair right outside the pharmacy, grabbed her medicine, grabbed her purse and her dotson dog all and ran, i bought a pistol and got my concealed carry permit that week lol. they could take my wallet, heck even my jeep, but they aint taking my puppy :-) |

Oh, yes, I know. Thank you for this; however, my experience is slightly unique and posted here: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...g-warning.html You're right, generally, though :) |
Puppy headstart classes 325$ |
Snoozer car seat that we use alot, a custom sleigh pet bed to match ours that they never use, and a Kwiggy Bow bag we also never use. |
hmm, so far it's been all her core/puppy vaccines and all her stuff prior to getting her (crate, food, toys, etc.). Been only 3 months so if I were to name single expensive item(s)... it would be her playpen, crate and carrier(s). |
Oh let's see...our new FLOORS were compliments of Wylie peeing on our carpeting, so they were def the most expensive thing we bought for Wylie . |
What would you consider the color of that Jaraden soho bag your dog is sitting in? |
Well, vet visits would likely top the list. Had 2 visits in the $1300 range in one year. But that's been a while. Butttt.... I'm trying to think of what would be THE most expensive... hmm... I've spent a LOT on collars and harnesses and leashes, lol. Most expensive individual collar was like $65, I think. I own a collar that's now worth $110 on the website but when I got it, it cost like $85 or something and I got it 40% off. But, when you have one dog who has, like... 20 collars? maybe, lol, it gets quite expensive. Plus the harnesses and leather leashes as well. I spend a lot on dog food, treats and toys and chews - usually from chewy.com. We haven't taken any training classes in a while because of the expense but Jackson's had like 4 agility classes, usually running about $150 for 6 weeks. |
i had to get a new LG frontloader washer and dryer to wash the beds. The next item is tile floors as my little darlings also abused the carpet to the point my carpet cleaner knows them all by name. |
The most expensive things I've purchased regarding ZoE have been: 1- fence supplies to build my own fence 2- ZoE herself 3- ER vet visit 4- purse carrier 5- stroller 6- carseat And she's worth every penny! |
I bought her the giant yorkie pup that she picked out for company. :) |
On Kimchi, it's her recent spay at the vet and went with all options, totaled out to about $380 x_x Her crates/pens and carrier otherwise... oh yes and her food :p |
Puppy insurance is probably the most expensive expense for Mork |
ER Surgery. It costed thousands. It saved her life, so it was worth every penny. |
This is such a tough question because I like to buy buy buyyy and continue to buy even more stuff for Chloe LOL. I would say the most expensive in total was her grooming tools because I have so much of them. |
