| will she ever "fill out"? Lexi is now about 10 months old and weighs maybe 5 pounds. I'm not expecting to get any bigger as far as height and lengths, but I remember seeing people on here saying they "fill out" in their second year. Is this true? Lexi is so skinny looking and her legs look like twigs. I hope she fills out a little. I also keep her hair short, which shows off how skinny she actually is! |

| Lol...I wonder the same about Sheldon, he has those twiggy legs too. He is almost five months, about three and a half pounds, and, especially since I cut him short, he looks so dainty. |

| Barney is almost 2 now and at her age he weighed around 5 to 5.5 pounds. He now weighs a little under 6. So in his case, yes he filled out more during year 2.

| She may or may not fill out. But once she's spayed she may pick up a few love handles.

| Lexi was spayed at 6 months old. She was about 3.5 pounds when spayed and then had a growth spurt now at 5 pounds. But she is still super skinny and she is not a big eater. If someone found her on the side of the road they would probably think she was starving! |

| Teddy was very skinny until the end of his second year. He really started developing muscle his 3 year. He is still bony under all his hair, but I know a lot of twiggier Yorkies. Some are just finely built.

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | Galen is athletic or lean . . I spoke to the vet about it. I was so worried. .. They said he was fine. . . Since she is already spayed she might have already filled out . .or like Kristen said after second year she might fill out a little.

| Well, Harry weighs 20lbs (depending on the time of day ) but he is really, really lean - almost skinny, would you believe? When we bath him, he looks like an advertisement for a poor little semi-rescued dog from some third world country.... He'll be 4 years old next week - I'm still waiting for him to fill out

| Abby is super active and between year one and two she turned more "lean" than skinny, She also has those tall skinny legs, but now at three is solid muscle. Much better than Ziva who really has to watch her weight! |

| Thanks everyone. Guess it's just a wait and see kinda thing. It's just funny because I have a 3 1/2 month old Shih Tzu who is shorter than Lexi and about the same length, but weighs about 2 pounds more than her! Poor Lexi wont stand a chance as Parker gets older, lol. |
